Board of Directors
Our board of directors strategically lead and implement MG2 Foundation’s mission and direct the allocation of resources.

Jerry Lee, Executive Director
Jerry Lee, MG2 CEO from 1993 to 2005, is a Seattle legend. From his earliest days, he has been a community builder and supporter, and Jerry now serves as head of MG2 Foundation. To honor Jerry’s decades-long support, on June 6, 2025, King County proclaimed Seattle Chinese Garden and Jerry and Charlene Lee Day.

Mitch Smith, Chair
Mitch Smith, MG2 CEO since 2005, blends clarity of vision and an architect’s convictions to build a better world in his commitment to communities. Mitch writes about the importance of community engagement in Fast Company.

Russ Hazzard, Director
MG2 President Russ Hazzard, whose leadership in retail and industrial development has helped lead company growth and build successful teams, has headed the Swing for the Cure charity golf tournament for the past two decades.

Wendy Unzelman, Director
Wendy Unzelman, MG2 CFO, focuses on directing finance strategy and achieving firm-wide financial goals with a passion for a positive firm culture and community outreach. Wendy oversees the firm’s University Endowment programs.
