For more than two decades, we’ve supported the fight against breast cancer.
For us, it’s personal
Like so many others, breast cancer has affected us all in deeply personal ways. In 2003, Jerry Lee and the leadership at MG2, a global architecture and design firm, held the inaugural Swing for the Cure Charity Golf Tournament to raise money to support education, detection, and treatment for women in need who were battling breast cancer. Driven by the loss of his first wife, Patricia, Jerry believed that no one should lose a friend, family member, or loved one to breast cancer. Jerry and his wife Charlene, herself a 25+ year survivor, continue to be our inspiration for continuing this important mission.
For more than 20 years, we’ve come together as friends, family, and a community to help support those affected by this terrible disease. We’ve golfed together, laughed together, celebrated the survivors, and grieved our losses. Through it all, our commitment to the cause remains steadfast. So join us in donating to support the fight to eradicate breast cancer once and for all!

Our ally in the fight: Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center
The Fred Hutch mission is to eliminate cancer and related diseases as causes of human suffering and death. Their scientists conduct leading-edge research to improve the prevention and treatment of cancer, HIV, COVID-19, and other diseases.
Their breast cancer researchers combine innovative thinking with revolutionary technologies to personalize cancer care. And they’re inventing tools to make cures more affordable and accessible for everyone.
Private support allows Fred Hutch scientists to jumpstart early research and act quicker than with government funding alone. Your gift through Swing for the Cure directly supports fearless science.
While Fred Hutch is a local, world-class comprehensive cancer center, the impact of their research spans the globe. When Komen Puget Sound closed its office, MG2 Foundation transitioned our support to Fred Hutch to continue to make a difference for breast cancer patients locally and worldwide.
