Check-in begins at 8:30. We encourage you to come early to have coffee, grab a pastry, and mingle with friends and colleagues. Please note: we’re requiring credit cards at registration for all purchases. Cards will be saved on file and used for silent auction, live auction, and raise-the-paddle donations (if purchased). We won’t be carrying or accepting cash.
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. / Tournament
The tournament will have a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Lunch will be on your cart prior to the start. The tournament format is a scramble and prizes will be given to the foursome placing first, second, and third. Prizes will also be awarded for Men’s and Women’s Long Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin. We’ll be sure to keep you entertained throughout the round.
To get our fundraising off to a good start, we’ll sell $10 mulligans (or 3 for $25) at the registration desk, so if you hit a bad shot, simply buy yourself a “do-over.”
3:30 – 4:30 p.m. / 19th Hole Happy Hour & Silent Auction
Once teams finish the tournament, everyone will assemble on the lawn behind the clubhouse for the 19th Hole Happy Hour. Grab a cocktail, mingle, and peruse the silent auction items available.
4:30 – 8:00 p.m. / Dinner, Awards, Live Auction, & Raise-the-Paddle
A buffet dinner, drinks, and dessert will be served around 5:00, followed by the awards program. We’ll have an exciting live auction followed by a final opportunity to donate during our raise-the-paddle event, and then we’ll have you back on the road around 8:00. Please be sure to check out with the team at the door to close your tab and collect any purchases.
Rules
Format is a four-person scramble. Each player hits from the tee. Choose the best shot, then each player hits from that location. Continue taking the best shot (including putts) until holing out. Use the tee shot of each player in the foursome a minimum of three times in the round. In threesomes, each player takes one shot with the fourth shot from the group rotated among the three players. If the best shot is:
- If the best shot is in the fairway, all shots should be hit from within one club length of the selected ball’s location, no closer to the hole.
- In the rough, play all shots within one club length, but still in the rough, no closer to the hole.
- In a sand trap, play all shots within one club length, but still in the bunker, no closer to the hole.
- On the green, play the balls from within one putter head length, no closer to the hole.
- In the water, the penalty is one stroke. Place the new ball at the point at which the ball entered the water.
- If a ball is lost or hit out of bounds, the penalty is one stroke. Place the new ball at the point where the ball was last seen.
- The tees will be Axe for Men and Three Tree for Women.
Hot Pink Ball Contest
Each team captain is given a hot pink ball with their foursome number written on it. The team captain starts and must play an entire golf hole with the hot pink ball. At the end of the hole it is passed to the next player. Continue to rotate the hot pink ball among your foursome until the end of the tournament or the ball is lost. If you still have your hot pink ball at the end of the tournament, enter it into a drawing at the awards dinner and win $25 Costco gift cards for each foursome player! Bonus: If you come across another team’s abandoned hot pink ball, write your starting hole number on it and enter it into the drawing and get additional chances for the prize.
